MP CM Mohan Yadav Plans Memorial and Development at Bhopal Gas Tragedy Site

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the Union Carbide factory site in Bhopal, where the 1984 gas tragedy occurred, and announced plans to develop the area as an industrial region alongside building a memorial for victims. The government completed the disposal and incineration of 337 tons of toxic waste from the site under High Court guidance. Yadav criticized the previous Congress government for alleged negligence and facilitating the escape of Union Carbide's CEO, Warren Anderson, while affirming ongoing support for victims and involving society in future development plans.
