The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has clarified it has no involvement in the upcoming film 'Battle of Galwan,' which depicts the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that filmmaking issues in India are managed by relevant authorities. The film, starring Salman Khan as an Indian Army officer, has drawn criticism from China's state media for allegedly distorting facts. It is scheduled for release on April 17, 2026.
