PM Modi and Finland President Stress Diplomacy, Call for Peace Amid Global Conflicts

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during talks with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, emphasized that military conflict cannot resolve issues, citing ongoing wars in West Asia and Ukraine. Both leaders stressed the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and adherence to the rule of law for peace. They called for urgent reforms in global institutions and highlighted expanding India-Finland cooperation in technology, trade, and sustainability, including the recent India-EU Free Trade Agreement. Finland also supported India's bid for a permanent UN Security Council seat.
