Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee met two West Bengal migrant workers arrested in Mumbai on charges of being Bangladeshi infiltrators. The TMC stated that despite the workers being from Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar's constituency, he did not assist them. Banerjee reportedly offered legal support after learning of their situation in April, according to a TMC statement.
