Two Suicides in West Bengal Linked to Post-SIR Electoral Roll Listings

Two individuals in West Bengal, Gouranga De and Rafiq Ali Gazi, died by suicide following the publication of the final electoral rolls after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. De's name was marked as 'deleted' and Gazi's as 'under adjudication,' causing them mental distress. Families and local sources linked their deaths to these listings.
