The long-delayed Diva Road Over Bridge (ROB) project in Thane is set to resume construction soon, with the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) aiming for completion by December 2026. While the Central Railways' portion is finished, the TMC is responsible for the ramps. Despite past delays from land disputes, the pandemic, and building demolitions, construction is expected to restart in months. However, landowners whose properties were acquired are disputing the process, claiming illegality, lack of compensation, and unfair compensation rates compared to other projects.
