Chhattisgarh's Public Distribution System (PDS) currently covers 2.73 crore beneficiaries through 82.18 lakh ration cards, with 89% of the population included. The state government is actively conducting e-KYC, with 85% of beneficiaries completing the process via e-POS machines or the 'Mera e-KYC' app. Over 73 lakh priority households receive free food grains, while 8.5 lakh above-poverty-line families get subsidized rice. Fortified rice is also supplied to priority households.
