
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has commenced Phase-II of Khan Market's redevelopment, focusing on upgrading the Middle Lane. The project, costing ₹1.21 crore and slated for completion by April 2026, includes granite flooring, integrated service ducts for utilities, and a new drainage line. NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal laid the foundation stone, emphasizing the market's development aligns with the 'Viksit Bharat-2047' vision and the NDMC's budget priorities. Other planned improvements include enhanced parking, traffic management, and upgraded public toilets.
