
The Telangana government released Rs 745 crore on February 27, 2026, to clear pending bills of government employees, continuing a monthly disbursement of at least Rs 700 crore since June last year. Directed by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the payments address dues such as gratuity, provident fund, and leave encashment. The government had assured employee unions of this monthly clearance amid prior demands and threats of agitation. Additionally, Rs 389 crore was released to gram panchayats.
