Delhi Police detained activist Yogita Bhayana, Congress leader Mumtaz Patel, and others near Parliament on Saturday during a protest against the Delhi High Court's decision to suspend the life sentence and grant bail to Unnao rape convict Kuldeep Singh Sengar. Protesters demanded the bail be revoked. The CBI has challenged the High Court's order in the Supreme Court. Sengar, an expelled BJP MLA, was convicted in the 2017 rape case but remains in jail due to a separate sentence.
