Key initiatives include dedicated Senior Citizen OPDs to reduce wait times for the elderly, and Rs 5 crore allocated to five medical institutions for Bone Marrow Transplant infrastructure. Additionally, Rs 75 crore will fund AI-equipped smart labs to expedite diagnostics, and an Advanced Paediatric Centre is planned. The state also conducted a successful Pulse Polio Campaign and is investing Rs 3,000 crore to enhance medical services, reducing the need for out-of-state treatment.
