IAF Releases Video of S-400 Missile System Demonstrating Long-Range Intercept

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a video showcasing the S-400 Sudarshan long-range air defence missile system in action, highlighting what it describes as the longest-range kill recorded in military history. The footage, shared ahead of Exercise Vayu Shakti-2026 in Rajasthan, depicts radar detection and missile interception of a distant aerial target. The system reportedly played a key role in Operation Sindoor in May 2025, striking a target about 300 km inside Pakistani territory. The S-400, acquired from Russia since 2018, is designed to detect and neutralize various aerial threats using multiple missile types.
