Ukraine's President Zelenskyy has appointed Kyrylo Budanov as his new Chief of Staff. Budanov, head of Ukraine's military intelligence (GUR), has been a prominent figure in Kyiv's intelligence efforts since the full-scale invasion, engaging in interviews and briefings. Under his leadership, the GUR has reportedly coordinated operations targeting Russian military capabilities, including strikes deep inside Russian territory and occupied areas.
