Karnataka Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar defended the demolition of over 150 'illegal' homes in Bengaluru's Kogilu locality, citing health hazards and illegal occupation of government property. He urged Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan to stay out of the local issue. Vijayan had criticized the demolitions as 'bulldozer raj' and anti-minority politics under a Congress government. Karnataka's Leader of Opposition, Chalavadhi Narayaswamy, also questioned Vijayan's interference, stating it's a local matter.
