Pakistan has extended its airspace ban on Indian aircraft until February 24, continuing restrictions first imposed in April last year following the Pahalgam attack. The ban covers all India-registered and Indian-operated aircraft, including military flights, across Pakistan's Karachi and Lahore flight information regions. India has imposed a reciprocal ban on Pakistani aircraft. The ongoing closure affects Indian airlines operationally and financially due to longer routes and increased fuel costs, with an Indian extension expected soon.
