Delhi Government Approves Two Major Road Projects to Enhance Connectivity

The Delhi government has approved two major road projects to improve connectivity and reduce congestion. The Barapullah Phase-III elevated corridor, costing over Rs 1,635 crore, will extend from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar, providing signal-free travel to AIIMS. Additionally, a six-lane double-decker elevated road with underpasses on Mehrauli-Badarpur road, estimated at Rs 1,471 crore, will be built in two phases. Both projects aim to ease traffic and are targeted for completion by June 2026.
