Maharashtra BJP Announces New State Team and Appoints Navnath Ban as Chief Spokesperson

Maharashtra BJP president Ravindra Chavan announced a new state team including six general secretaries, 12 vice-presidents, secretaries, a treasurer, and heads of youth, women's, and OBC wings. The appointments, delayed due to local elections, were made after consultations with central and state leaders. The team reflects efforts toward generational change, women’s representation, caste and regional balance, with a focus on expanding the party in weaker areas. Navnath Ban was appointed chief spokesperson, replacing Keshav Upadhye. Those not selected will be given other roles within the party.
