
On the fourth anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution titled 'Support for lasting peace in Ukraine,' calling for an immediate, full, and unconditional ceasefire. The resolution, passed with 107 votes in favor, 12 against, and 51 abstentions, reaffirmed Ukraine's sovereignty and condemned attacks on civilians and infrastructure. India was among the 51 countries, including the US and China, that abstained from voting on the resolution introduced by Kyiv.
