Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is facing losses as high as Rs 97,000 crore, comparable to Delhi's annual budget. She announced efforts to revive the DTC, including taking back bus operations from DIMTS. Gupta accused the previous government of collapsing the public transport system by handing over operations to DIMTS, leading to DTC drivers being idle.
