Compensation for families of those who die due to wildlife attacks has been raised to a total of Rs 14 lakh, combining funds from the State Disaster Response Fund and the Forest Department. For deaths caused by snakes, bees, or hornets, families receive Rs 4 lakh from the SDRF and Rs 10 lakh from the Forest Department. Injury compensation varies by severity, with amounts allocated for disability and hospitalization durations. The cabinet also approved the Kerala State Film Policy to support the state's film industry.
