Andhra Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee (AOB SZC) leadership has been dismantled, with 18 Maoists neutralized in seven exchange of fire cases during 2025, according to ASR Superintendent of Police Amit Bardar. He reported 49 surrenders and nine arrests, alongside community policing initiatives benefiting 1,800 youth. Ganja cases significantly decreased in 2025, with 14,484 kg seized compared to 23,366 kg in 2024, and 358 arrests versus 1,016.
