Ladakh Lt Governor Inspects Leh Market and Heritage Areas, Calls for Infrastructure Improvements

Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena inspected Leh's main market and old town heritage areas, including Chuteyrantak and the Central Asian Museum, on March 15. Accompanied by senior officials, he reviewed civic infrastructure, cleanliness, and heritage conservation. Saxena directed officials to prepare a comprehensive plan within one month to improve sanitation, infrastructure, and urban management, emphasizing traditional architectural styles, uniform signage, and underground electrical wiring to enhance safety and preserve cultural identity.
