Rahul Gandhi Receives Grandfather Feroze Gandhi's Long-Lost Driving Licence in Rae Bareli

During his visit to Rae Bareli, Rahul Gandhi received the long-lost driving licence of his grandfather, Feroze Gandhi, from Vikas Singh, a local family member and organiser of the Rae Bareli Premier League cricket tournament. The licence had been preserved for decades as an "amanat" (valuable trust) by Singh's family after being found years ago. Rahul Gandhi examined the document on stage and shared a photo with his mother, Sonia Gandhi. Feroze Gandhi represented Rae Bareli in India's first general election in 1952 and died in 1960.
