Multiple suspected Pakistani drones were spotted along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch and Samba districts on January 15, prompting Indian security forces to activate anti-drone measures and maintain high alert. The drones, described as small reconnaissance units flying at low altitudes with lights on, have been detected repeatedly since early January. Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi stated that Pakistan has been warned against such incursions, with Indian forces responding according to protocols, including firing upon drones in the Rajouri sector.
