The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) in Arunachal Pradesh has called off a planned bandh after the state government ordered a re-verification of land compensation for the Lada-Sarli Frontier Highway. ANYA president Jamru Ruja welcomed the decision, emphasizing the need for a swift and transparent process. The association also demands inclusion of an ANYA member in the committee, punishment for guilty officials, and recovery of fraudulently collected funds, alongside prompt compensation for genuine landowners.
