The UK government has chartered a repatriation flight from Muscat, Oman, to assist British nationals stranded in the Gulf amid escalating conflict following US-Israel strikes on Iran. Scheduled initially for Wednesday evening, the flight was delayed to Thursday due to pilot rest requirements. Priority is given to vulnerable individuals, with eligibility extended to British nationals, their spouses or partners, and children under 18. A rapid deployment team and a crisis centre are providing support and coordinating further evacuation efforts.
