New Amrit Bharat Express Trains Launched to Enhance Connectivity in India

The Indian Railways has introduced new Amrit Bharat Express trains to enhance connectivity and passenger facilities. The inaugural New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat Express, flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 17, received a warm welcome in Kumbakonam, improving direct links for workers and tourists. Additionally, Kerala has been allotted three new trains, including two Amrit Bharat Express services connecting Thiruvananthapuram with Tambaram and Hyderabad, expected to be launched during the Prime Minister's visit on January 23. Several stations have also been upgraded under the Amrit Bharat station scheme.
