The Waldhuni Rail Over Bridge in Kalyan has been reopened by the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) after repairs were completed in eight days, ahead of schedule. However, the bridge currently lacks safety features like a central divider, lane markings, and a pedestrian walkway. KDMC officials stated that installing dividers is not feasible due to the bridge's narrow width but lane markings and other works will be completed soon. The absence of such features on other flyovers has previously led to fatal accidents.
