Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed police to maintain strict vigilance on social media to curb cybercrime, propaganda, and the misuse of platforms that could disrupt law and order or ethnic and religious harmony. He emphasized a zero-tolerance policy against those who spread anarchy, divide society, or engage in organized criminal activities like cow smuggling and religious conversions. The CM also stressed strengthening technical security to counter terrorism and drug trafficking.
