Madhya Pradesh Raises Dearness Allowance by 3% and Extends Vehicle Facility to Treasury Officers

Ahead of Holi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a 3% increase in dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees and pensioners, raising it from 55% to 58%, effective from April 2026 salary payable in May. Arrears from July 2025 to March 2026 will be paid in six instalments starting May 2026. Additionally, the government approved allowing all Treasury officers to avail hired vehicle facilities during working hours from April 1, 2026.
