The All India Kisan Sabha Haryana has joined a campaign to protect the Aravalli mountain range from mining, following a Supreme Court decision. He warned that excluding hills below 100 meters from protection and allowing mining would be catastrophic, impacting agriculture, water resources, and potentially leading to desertification.
