
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will unveil a 58-foot bronze statue of freedom fighter Potti Sriramulu at Shakhamuru Park in Amaravati on March 16, marking the 125th birth anniversary of the leader. The statue, completed in six months using 26 tonnes of bronze and 42 tonnes of iron, is part of a Rs 150 crore memorial project on 6.8 acres. Future plans include a museum, photo gallery, auditorium, and skill development centre. Naidu will also attend a state-organized Iftar dinner in Vijayawada that evening.
