
Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh, along with his two deputy chief ministers, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and key Union ministers including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in New Delhi. The meetings focused on restoring peace, supporting rehabilitation of internally displaced persons (IDPs), reviving Manipur's economy, and promoting inclusive development and women's empowerment. The Centre assured full assistance, including financial aid and approval for 5,000 new houses under PMAY-G for IDPs. The Chief Minister also invited the Prime Minister to visit Manipur to strengthen Centre-State cooperation.
