The Indian vessel INSV Kaundinya completed its maiden 17-day voyage from Porbandar, India, to Muscat, Oman, symbolizing a revival of the 5,000-year-old maritime ties between the two nations. Constructed using traditional stitched-plank techniques inspired by a fifth-century Ajanta Cave painting, the ship showcases India's indigenous shipbuilding heritage.
