State Panel Probes Pune Mundhwa Land Deal; Report Pending on Parth Pawar's Role

A state government committee led by Additional Chief Secretary Vikas Kharge is investigating a controversial 40-acre land deal in Pune's Mundhwa area involving Amedia Enterprises LLP, where Parth Pawar is a majority partner. While some reports suggest Parth Pawar may be cleared, officials including Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule have stated the probe report is yet to be submitted, and no clean chit has been granted. The inquiry focuses on procedural irregularities, valuation discrepancies, and stamp duty evasion, with extensions granted for the committee to complete its work.
