The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has officially decided to relocate its high-frequency radar station from Dahisar to Gorai in Mumbai, with approval from the Union Civil Aviation Minister. Maharashtra's government will provide 20 acres of land at Gorai free of cost, while the freed Dahisar land will be partly developed into a public garden and other uses. Officials highlighted that the move will support housing redevelopment for around 50,000 homes, improve aviation safety, and boost economic growth in North Mumbai.
