Delhi is implementing a comprehensive "Winter Air Pollution Control Action Plan" for 2025-26, featuring 17 points to combat dust, vehicular emissions, construction pollution, waste burning, and industrial discharges. Measures include deploying anti-smog guns and mist sprayers. A pilot cloud-seeding project, a third attempt after decades, was also conducted in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, despite several postponements due to weather. Air pollution remains a significant challenge, especially during winter months when AQI frequently enters severe categories.
