V.K. Sasikala Announces New Party AIPTMMK to Contest Tamil Nadu Elections in Alliance

Expelled AIADMK leader V.K. Sasikala announced her new political party, All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AIPTMMK), unveiling its symbol as a coconut grove representing unity. Launched on February 24 during former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's birth anniversary, Sasikala emphasized the party's commitment to serving the poor and opposing the DMK. She stated the party will contest upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections in alliance, aiming to unite loyalists and like-minded groups. Sasikala also criticized AIADMK leadership under Edappadi K. Palaniswami.
