
The Indian government has approved 108 laboratories for quality testing of Ayurvedic, Siddha, and Unani drugs, according to Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav. These labs are licensed under the Drugs Rules, 1945. The initiative includes support for 34 State Drug Testing Laboratories and three Regional Research Institutions. A pharmacovigilance program is also in place to monitor Ayush drugs and address misleading advertisements, aiming to protect consumers and ensure product quality.
