Bihar's Agriculture Department is intensifying its crackdown on fertilizer hoarding and black marketing during the Rabi season. The department has canceled 83 licenses and filed 31 FIRs against fertilizer shops. Raids have led to the seizure of nearly 2,000 fertilizer bags in East Champaran. Officials are conducting surprise checks across the state, including border areas, to ensure timely and fair-priced fertilizer supply to farmers.
