Himachal Pradesh SDM Warned for Promoting Products on Social Media

Himachal Pradesh's Shimla (Urban) SDM Oshin Sharma, a 2020-batch HPAS officer, received a government warning after promoting nutritional supplements and jewellery on her social media accounts. Following public backlash and viral posts, the state government directed Shimla's Deputy Commissioner to issue the warning and instructed Sharma to cease such promotional activities. Subsequently, Sharma removed the posts and deactivated her social media handles.
