Punjab HC Orders Protection Measures for Bikram Singh Majithia Amid Terror Threat

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the Punjab government and senior police officials to ensure the safety of former minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who faces threats from the banned terrorist group Babbar Khalsa International while lodged in Nabha jail. The court emphasized personal responsibility for top prison officers and ordered periodic security reviews. The matter, raised through petitions citing intelligence inputs, is scheduled for further hearing on February 10.
