Thousands rallied in Novi Sad, Serbia, as university students vowed to continue their fight against corruption under President Aleksandar Vucic's government. The protests, sparked by a 2024 train station disaster that killed 16 people, demand early elections and propose banning corrupt officials and investigating their wealth. Vucic, in power for over a decade, has refused early polls and faces accusations of undermining democracy. Students plan further rallies, including one in Belgrade on January 27.
