
The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) reported registering 78 FIRs in 2025, investigating cases of bribery, disproportionate assets, and abuse of official position. The bureau filed charge sheets in 43 cases and secured convictions in seven, leading to 13 accused persons being found guilty. The ACB also conducted 703 verifications, issued 41 alert notes and 91 advisories to the government to address procedural loopholes and prevent corruption.
