The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has blamed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the death of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. BNP leader Nazrul Islam Khan stated that Zia was imprisoned due to Hasina's "personal vengeance" and was denied necessary medical treatment abroad, leading to her deteriorating health. He asserted that Hasina bears responsibility for Zia's death, citing medical experts' opinions that overseas treatment could have altered the outcome. Khan also recounted Zia's political history and her leadership of the BNP for 41 years.
