Odisha Begins Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls Using 2002 Voter List

Odisha's Chief Electoral Officer R S Gopalan announced that about 90% of voters have been mapped with the 2002 electoral roll, aiming to reach 95% within 15 days. The special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls will begin on April 1, using the 2002 list as a baseline for the 2025 rolls. Citizens are urged to verify their details via various portals and assist booth-level officers in completing the mapping, which does not require documents like Aadhaar cards.
