Eight deaths have been reported in Indore's Bhagirathpura area following alleged water contamination. Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya stated that micro-level checking of the colony's water supply is underway and expected to take 8-10 days, with water treatment measures already in progress. BJP MP Shankar Lalwani confirmed clean water supply restoration and stated borewell samples were sent for testing, with mild cases discharged. JDU leader KC Tyagi criticized the minister's remarks, calling the incident alarming.
