Uttarakhand CM Inaugurates Tehri Lake Festival, Announces Tourism and Sports Projects

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the four-day Himalayan O2 Tehri Lake Festival, highlighting the lake's emergence as a global hub for tourism and adventure sports. The government is promoting activities like kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, parasailing, and scuba diving, alongside developing modern training facilities for athletes. Dhami announced infrastructure projects including a ropeway connecting Koti Colony and New Tehri and the Koti-Dobra tourism route, aiming to boost local economy and position Tehri as a premier adventure sports destination.
