Veteran Kerala CPI(M) leader G. Sudhakaran, who served the party for 63 years and was a former PWD minister, has chosen not to renew his party membership during the 2026 scrutiny process. In a Facebook post, he expressed dissatisfaction with the state and district leadership, citing neglect and exclusion from party activities. While he did not confirm quitting the party or joining another platform, his decision comes amid preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections and follows his removal from the state committee in 2022.
