A 19-year-old Bangladeshi national, Shariful Islam Bhuyian, was apprehended by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near the Indo-Pakistan border in Jammu's Gajansoo area. He was detained within one kilometer of the international boundary after suspicious movement was observed. Bhuyian, who reportedly arrived on December 30, could not provide valid documents for his presence. He has been handed over to the Jammu and Kashmir Police for further investigation into his purpose and entry route.
